Software: Most hard disks today come with software that easily copies the data from your old hard disk to your new hard disk. The upgrade usually includes special overlay software if your BIOS does not support large capacity drives. If upgrading to a large capacity disk (> 2GB) you may need to upgrade operating system to support FAT-32.
